which RIMS? 15x12 or 17x11

ok.. well i finally payed off the R6 and insurance is somehow liking me more now *i was paying $450 a month w/ progressive.. now its $500 a year with AAA* anywho... i want to get my injectors put in soon and get some rubber to the ground. but i am stuck at which path to take. the car is going to get a new look here soon *91-92 z28 spoiler and turbo IROC hood* and a new paintjob *maroon or some dark red w/ grey'ish white stripes. * so im trying to picture which would look better..either some polished ZR-1's 17x9.5 up front and 17x11's in back.. or some crager street star 15x8s up front and 15x12's in back. and then there is the tires.. with NITTO 555SII's in the front and 555 DR's in back or just some MT E/T streets in the back 4 the 15x12's.

here is a link of a quick photoshop of the car http://hometown.aol.com/falcon978/aziroc.html just minus the rims.

I had the same exact dilema as you and I made a decision today after like 2 weeks. It was between 15x10 torq thrust IIs or 17x8s. It was the 15" with MT ET street slicks or 17x8s with the BFG comp T/A drag street slicks. I chose the 17x8s. The reason is this: Is it worth it to get MT slicks when you only really race for part of the summer or do you get some nice big rims with the BFG slicks which are still great and have show rims all year? You can always just get a pair of real slicks for your present rims for the track. Also, most rims look better in 17" or at least the TT2s do. I ordered the TT2s 17x8 today from summit with some BFG street drags for the back and BFG KDWS for the front. 275/40/17 all the way around. Cost $1080 for rims and $650 tires. Just my opinion.
