Taillight Tint
Would this tint on my taillights be light enough to be street legal, but dark enough too look blacked out? I thought about Trans Am lights and Black outs, but I'm not totally partial to them. I want the taillights to be smoked, but still visible.
it's legal if u can see the lights clearly when they're activated. of course what may seem clear to you will be up to the discretion of the officer who hassles you over them, but you know what? those don't seem much darker than trans am lights so maybe they'll just glance over it and not notice. it's not like it's a slab of black thrown over ur lights, that gets you attention real quick
good job on it, it looks nice and even

didn't catch where u live, but in ohio i know that if u have a 3rd brake light u can have taillight covers legally. my cousin was getting pulled over for his and finally asked to see the laws, and it said if u have a 3rd brake light they are legal

Anyway i would look up the law, your local library has a copy of all laws on file and they can help you find out........
If does attract the attention of cops if they are determined to stop you they will be running registration, license plate and all once they realize you have a 3rd brake light, just to find some reason to get you anyway.....
