I got 16" wheels! poll too!

Now I have to decide if I want to pay for them.

My friend had them on his 67RS- looked sweet but the car wnadered all over the place, and dented the chrome strip on his fender. He's going back to his 15" Ralley wheels.

I had the factory 15" Z28 wheel with 215/65/15 on
before.

New wheels have 245/45/16 fr and 245/50/16 rear.

Think they look good? Should I buy? I'm going to school right now- so moneys tight but I am working
and coud sell my old wheels to pay for them.

I'll a before pic.

I really haven't noticed any detioration in ride quality- on really flat well paved roads it actaully feels better. And it still manages to spins them- despite the probable weight increase.

I like the look of the old rims. But the 16" rims makes a big difference over the 15".

I still like the original wheels better, regardless of the picture. I voted too...

You asked for opinions, and that's mine....but so far everyone prefers the original rims.

the new ones are just too flat. if they used like a center cap like the 91,92 z28s they would look bad ***.

Are those rims off of the S10 or the 91-92 Z28. I can't tell.

I like the 15" compared to those 16" rims.

However I do think your car would look really sweet with some 85-87 IROC rims. Prefferably the black and polished ones similar to the ones on Mark A Sheilds car.

Oops I guess I just gave Mark a reason to post a few more times lol Not that he wouldn't have posted anyways.

Color Matched IROC wheels would look even better.

It depends largely on how much your going to pay for them.
I think the 16"s look better, but not worth it if your gonna be broke after.

Damn 15 on no already. Well I would say no cause the center caps just look to big. I would try and polish the originals.

I say they look great! they look like the wheels off of 92's and those 15"ers are not as good as the IROC versions (or 16" versions). Leave the center caps on if you get em.

I like the new ones better, but I think stock 88-90 IROC rims would look good.

Sweet car BTW, I love the color.

Wow! Never been complementd on the colour!
I absolutley hate it! I think in 89 they slighty changed the hue or shade cause the paint code is dirrerent. (then 88 and earlier)

It looks different in different light- some times kinda of pinky and others a blood red.

Worst part is the red and black pinstriping (whats left of it) whoever decided that a red pinstripe should go on a burgandy car should be shot.

17", ROH and other suggestions are interesting but the only reason I'm considereing these are:

the tires are breand new- that's $800 CDN
wheels are baiscally free
because I can buy eerything for $800.

So economy is a drving factor here.
