I was watching Bike Week on cable and saw, what I thought was pretty cool, a custom motorcycle that used neon tubes instead of spark plug wires. It looked pretty awesome seeing it 'light' every time the cylinder fired.

That would be kind of neat to see that on v-8 seeing when every single spark. There isn't a performance benifit, but a novalty to say the least.

sounds cool, but i'd rather have that little extra power going to the plugs would be cool for a night at the local car shows tho
