I was wondering if anybody has the gold GTA wheels.
As you can see by my sig pic the wheels on my GTA are black.
Some dingbat painted them black and I want to change them back to gold (I can see the gold under the black inside the spokes) they also did not tape the chrome up and got overspray on the chrome (some people )
Anyway I was wondering just how tough that gold finish was so I dont go and use something that will take it off too.

Anyone have any ideas on a good stipper to do this with? It looks as if they only put one really heavy coat on them, so if I get the right stuff and a few hours elbow grease they should be looking golden again.

 

If someone painted over them... the best thing to do is get a can of tal-strip II aircraft Stripper. Thats what I used to strip the clear coat of the gold gta wheels... I will post a picture of the stripper for you asap.
