What color bulbs are you using?

What color bulbs are you guys using in your turn signals? I'm probably going to order those clear ones from procarparts, but I hate how the amber bulb reflects off everything and it still has an amber tint to it. Alot of my friends with their civics and what not use white or blue bulbs, and they haven't been harassed by the cops. I was wondering, have any of you used white or blue bulbs without problems? Thanks.

I'm assuming you are talking about the clear side markers. When I put my set on, I got some on the bulbs that look clear, but when you turn them on, they are amber. I like them because you can't see the bulb in there. I got them at the local Advance Auto, they are made by APC.

go to the store and ask for 194NA if you want amber ones. I use them in my clear side blinkers.

i just installed the clear markers and i love the products themselves, but the clear does look funny at night. i tried the bulbs that are clear until you turn them on and they aren't bright at all.

i just replaced them yesterday with the partnumber described by derfrank and they work perfect..........they match the brilliant clearness as the front parking lights in the day when the lights are off and look even better at night.

however, with these lights if you look very closely you can still see a hint of amber; but honestly it's nothing that affects the look and the color of the light is much better than apc's....they last longer too.

i wouldn't think that many people would notice, but i've had 2 people ask me in the last 3 days where i got them; go for it they look great.

glad you like them better than the APC's. I had those in my car along with the LED amber 194's. I ended up like the the 194NA's the best and they are the cheapest. You gotta look really hard for that hint of amber in the clear blinkers.

Well saying in most places colored bulbs are illegal, especially if any of it is not DOT approved...

yes, the hint of amber is so subtle that it isn't even a concern and the look at night is by far much nicer when compared to the off white glow of the stock bulb.
