Paintin rear?

Okay i wasnt sure which board to post this on but oh well if it gets moved it gets moved. i was woundering what kinda paint should i use to paint my 9 bolt rear end that isnt in the car? i was thinkin rustolium but i was woundering about the heat the rear end makes and the paint. im goin to paint the rear black and then the calipers silver. and it will most likly be a spray can paint. so if anyone can tell me thanx. also i was thinkin por-15 but i dont have the money for that right now.

well im not really goin to por-15 it yet maybe some time in the future but not right now , im just trying to find a cheap alterative to paintin the rear but also keepin the rust from showing up more and to make it look good. but is there anything in a spray paint can thats as good as por-15 but with out the strenght and tuffness of it.

Yep.. try an Engine Enamel.. Just make sure the diff is EXTREMELY clean.. degrease it, and high pressure hose it, and do it again!! maybe even sand it back
