Rear Bumper

Any one know how difficult it is to replace the back bumper???

i had the worst day today.. i was hit by two cars, at two separate times and locations. on ethe way to school... stopped at a redlight some lady in an explorer rearends me....no damage to either car... then on my way home from college im at another red light and a contour smacks into the side of my rear bumper and tears it. i totally messed up the contor, but my bumper has a tear in it... anyways i was wondering if anyone know how hard the back bumper is to replace.

THat really sucks. I beleive you will need a star and a flat screwdriver. They aren't to bad to remove just the bumper cover. YOu will have to remove the tailights to get at the top of the bumper cover. Shouldn't be to hard for you, just bring a well stocked tool box, incase you run into porblems. The best thing to remember when working on cars... Look everything over well before you start to wrench things apart. This will always help make the job a bit easier. Hope this helps??

It is super easy, You need a 10 mil socket or wrench for the inner side bolts, a screw driver flat and philips. Remove the rear inner body panel, remove the taillights, pop all the upper and lower pushin retainers out and remove the side bolts. You will also need to remove the spare tire and go under the rear storage box. Takes me about 15 minutes tops and its off.
