'86 mate, year before yours. Sometimes i think its the only one on earth with NO squeeks or rattles, and t-tops that don't leak...

Still has, (with 106 000 miles)

Origional engine,
All origional pannels (99.99% rust free, a couple of bubbles on the leading edge of the bonnet.)
No filler
perfect origional interior
good origional headliner
origional gearbox / axle

No noticable wear in anything.

Only thing that has had to be re-done (about 8 years ago) is paint....(damn those californian water based paints)

THANKS!!!

They are 18x8 Boss 301 wheels w/255/40/18 tires.
She don't have much guts with the all stock 350 TPI, but I'm slowly working on it The wife is more worried about cosmetics since it's her car, so unfortunately that comes 1st - but to be honest it's a lot of fun non the less. Wow, sorry to ramble (especially since this thread is about paint).

Id say black and blue cars are the best especially solid black or blue Irocs but for the z's the two tones rule any color w/ silver gfx

I've not had too many problems with dings and things of that sort thus far. In my town, we have a "cool car parking" rule. Basically if your car is cool enough, you can park it damn near anywhere, so I do. Not only that.. its not a daily driver. A few times a week at most. I would like to put some of the cladding back on, but I wish that something was made that molded to the body aerodynamically. Something that didn't stick out like a sore thumb. If your going to do it, i'd say body match them. You have a clean ride.. IMO, you should keep it that way.

I guess it would help to read what I was replying too... let me try that again. If you are going to use that as a daily driver, then definitely go with the paint matched molding.
