i have a chip of paint right above my gas cover it is a circle about half as round as a penny... i have been trying to get all the little things done to my car while winter is here and i have everything done except this... i think this chip looks horrible.. my cars paint is only 2 years old and it was pretty much perfect.. till now... so i need some recemendations.. if i take it to a shop would they be able to fix it to make it not noticable...and about how much would you guess it would cost????..or just do it myself but i am not very confident i can get it not noticible... man i hate dumb punk gas attendents... anyway thanks

my car is metallic blue too... one day i went to the mall, i have a mint paintjob myself (mine is original though), and when i came back there was a big chip about your size on my driver side quarter panel between the door and wheel well. i did an easy fix, i went to GM, got some touch-up paint for $4, and put some overtop. At first I wasn't happy with it, but NOBODY even notices the chip anymore whereas before everybody noticed it. I recommend this.

I am in the same boat as you but mine is not as big. I want to take care of it as soon as possible but I am unsure as what to do about it. The only reason I am conserned is that my paint is alomost brandnew and it is showing a little suface rust (is what I would call it) and it bugs the **** out of me!! Any help whould be great!! Thanks
