what kind of clearence do you get with a Ram Air hood?
whats it like 2" and a Ram Air II is like 3"??? I don't know thats why I ask. I like the look of those hoods so if somone with any info on them can you post it for me? Thanks in advance...

3" with the RA2 . gives lots of clearance right now i have a torker intake , 2" poly spacer , holley 700 and a 3" k&n on a drop base and still have at least an inch of clearance

Just curious automec, do you have any track times? Looking at your profile I bet that car is fast as hell!

 

no not yet . just some g-tech times when its 20 degrees out 13.57 @106 and 2.3 60foot time( i live at 4800' elavation) . i haven't done any tuning on it other than setting timming , and the nos is not on it . comming soon . i'm changing to a team g intake and putting a pro shot fogger on it this winter. i think i can get it into the 12s on the motor with a little tuning.
