I've never been a fan of the "too slick" look on tires... Used to use the Black Magic and wipe it on with a rag. I bougth the Meguire's Tire Care stuff last Summer. That one bottle lasted me until just a month or two ago. I bought another one at Target awhile back, and it even came with an applicator.

It works very well. Tires look good even after it raining for a few days.

Wesley's Blech-White cleans tires nicely to take it back to that just-made satin black color.

Then you can use your favorite tire dressing. I like applying with a cotton cloth instead of an applicator. It's a little messier, but you can control the gloss by wetting the cloth first. The wetter the cloth, the less the gloss. Then tone it down to where you like it by wiping with a damp cloth again.

Yup. I do as Jza does. Haven't found anything that beats Westley's blech wite for cleaning without shining.

Kerosene does a nice job of restoring that nice dull black color when the tires start to turn brown, when i worked at a detail shop we used to do this.

sos and jet pads work real good to remove that brown and black buildup on your tires,,,,,and they're the best thing to scrub your white letters with (they will look like the day the tires were new!!)

I used the same stuff on tires too. Works great. I love the wet look look because the rubber looks black instead of a grayish color when dry and dirty. I also used it on my weatherstripping and that triangle by the door and window. Sometimes it's so clean, shiney, and glossy that it squeaks.
