I just boughtsome cragar ss' off of this guy in my neighborhood and im not real good on the tires i know that you can have different sizes. but what would you guyz suggest for fo a 16x7 cagars in the back and the front. thanx in advance :hail:

 

For a 16X7 wheel the widest you can go is with a Comp T/A ZR4
225-55-16. The Tread width is about 8.75" and the diameter is just about the same as a 15X7 wheel with 235-60-15 tires. Don't let any moron try to sell you 245-50-16 tires. It wouldn't look right on a 16X7 wheel. Some would fit but will buldge.

Whether this makes sense or not the 225-55-16 tires are wider than those 235-60-15's I know because I have 16X7 enkeis and Comp ZR4 tires . They are about 1/8" wider than my old 245-60-15 tires and wheels.
