If i want to purchase something from a user here, what is the best way to buy it to ensure that i am going to get the item? I have never bought over the internet so i am leary on this. I don't want to send money to someone and then i never get the part i paid for. someone give me some tips. thanks

well one way to do it is to do C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery) which means he ships it cod and when you get the part you give the people delivering the money and they take it back to him.

 

when i sell stuff i usually send the part first and when the person gets it, they can send me the money.
unless its over a certain amount, then it would be like half before and then half after they get the stuff..

 

What kind of actions could i take if i send some money and i never recieve a part and i can't seem to get in contact with them? Would a check or money order be the best to send so i have some sort of a record that i paid or what?

 

if you send it threw something like western union, you have a big paper trail following him.

 

Another way is paying by Pay pal
To get Information on the seller ask everyone if they have ever bought from that person or even know them.

 

Money orders work as well. Because they are insured through the bank, and the bank certainly doesn't want to pay you money! They'd like to take your money though!
