The tensioner assembly, and the bracketry that hols the pulleys and such, i look at most of our cars and they look dismal, id like to get mine to almost new appearance, do you think some cleaner would do the trick, or pulling it all apart for some paint ? The alternator looks similar, but im just reaplcing it with a chrome one, but damn that stuff just looks like hell, any tips ?

 

I would just try to use some engine degreaser and scrub them

 

Better yet. have em beadblasted and powdercoated. I didnt that to mine and sold em. Picking up another set now.
