Where can I get some black 17-18" rims???

I've pretty much exhausted my online resource to find some painted black rims. I saw the ones on the yellow 2002 collectors TA. Just out of curiosity, I'll check and see hhow much they run from GM. I'm sure it would be 500 a rim. Anyway, I'm looking for either a 5 star in a 17 or 18. I thought before that there was a wheel company (accs) or something that made rims just like the black pontiac honeycomb's in a 17.

thanks in advance

Epsilon made some crosslace 17" rims in black, but they weren't as deep a dish as the GTA rims because they were made for Corvettes and req spacers. BBS also made some, but I think they came in gold.

You can make any rim you want black. You dont have to buy it like that. Some people do it themselves by painting the wheel, others have someone powdercoat it. Powdercoating is the better way to go as far as durability. But its also pretty expensive. Taking your time painting the wheel can give you good results, and it will be alot cheaper. I'm getting ready to have my 17" ROH ZS's powdercoated here pretty soon. I want to do the spokes and have the lip polished. Still deciding if I should go with Gunmetal Grey, Black Opal (very dark grey), or Onyx Black. The car will be black with a single gunmetal grey racing stripe, so any of those colors will match the car.

I also am thinking about the CE rims...I'm sure they'll want a ton for them though. I saw a parked CE the other day...if only I had my floor jack I might have some new rims right now

I can't wait to see how they look. I've already made my decision that I'm getting the ZS wheels, but I haven't decided whether I want the charcoal, or if I want to do like you and powdercoat them black or some color inbetween.

Thanks guys.

I was thinking of experimenting and painting my stock 16" slotted pontiacs since I have to pairs. I wonder if it is possible to make it look good painting the surface black and the slots a red. Could even fill in the pontiac etching with the alternate color.

Third gen resources have black SS wheels for 900 a set, plus 350 for the spacers.

What's the average price to have a wheel powder coated??
