i think what makes it look ugly is the 2 stripes going across it, if it were like round circles or something like that it might look alright?

I don't really care for the looks of those taillights, but the guy has a whole lot of talent! He made the gfx too I think.
And, that speaker box is both creative and very well done as well.

if he woulda taken out the inside of those lights and concealed the outer rin gof them so you dont see the studs along the casing, and possibly just kept everything clear it would look alright. not for me alright but alright.

They look alright in the at night photos but when I saw the daytime one.. Eww. Too much like a r!cer. Looks like it'd go well with a coffee can exhaust tip and some kind of japanese symbols on the rear window.

oh comeon now this guy has an awesome idea just in the wrong sense. this post was to that guy that wanted clear tail lights but since the search feature is down i cant fidn the post. the clear tail lights are possible this proves it and this guy did an excellent job on a bad set of tail lights. look at the LED's, he has anice color scheme, its just.. he needs to rethink some of them shapes and maybe even a black shield them may help even a slotted one?

The fab skills remind me of one of my friends... he's building a show truck (air bags, body drop, frame dragging, etc.) and is creating a pneumatically-operated reverse light that pops up from the tailgate when he's in reverse. In both of these cases, the application is a bit excessive but the design work is amazing.

Maybe those would look ok if the housing was smoked instead of totally clear.Def a great job on the fab work tho!

IMO, clear taillights are ugly. Those little rainbow things in his taillights make them stand out from the rest as being even uglier.

hmmm

i'll argee that it could be better but still it's not a bad try for a first time....

yeah it does kinda remind me of rainbow bright but still, a little time and maybe some different designs and he could be on somthing here.....

just imagine square lights instead of those rainbow streaks or somthing... it could be ok......
