15x10 rims w/ 4" backspacing

will these fit w/ 295/50/15 tires? Its alright if the stick out of the wheelwell aways. if not will they fit w/ another tire size? i'm ordering them tommorrow so any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

They will stick out about 2". I had 15x10 on mine for a while with 5" BS and 275/50r15 and they stuck out 1/2" or so. You MUST also raise the rear of the car, or the quarter panel will bottom out on the tread of the tire!

thanks Marc 85Z28 for the quick response and helpful info. i've been on the search all day and couldn't find the answer i needed. if i use air shocks in back, how far would i have to raise them up would u say to keep from killing my tire?

just watch with the air shocks. i found out my car and them and one side blew thru where it is mounted to the body and well it was fix but im pissed about that. just watch out

At least another 2-3" Before I had the 275/50r15, I had 305/50r15 They would scrape about 1" down the sidewall on the quarter panel when the suspension nearly bottomed out on large dips in the road. That's why I went with the smaller 275/50r15. I had no rubbing problems with those.

So, to sum it up: I think that improper backspacing will be more of a safety issue rather than appearance. But, if you are willing to jack up the rear of the car to accomodate the improper wheels, so be it.
