T/A screamin' chicken....help!

I've been wondering for a while now, which way is the head on the screamin' chicken supposed to be facing, or does it really make a difference..... Thanks in advance

Depends. Some second gens had the bird's head facing to the right, if it was on a shaker hood(400 / Olds 403) and to the left on Turbo 301s that came with the Power Blister hood. The bird had a longer wing span and longer flame coming out of it's beak. Third gens had them facing to the right wihich is ironic because they have the Power Blister hood like the Turbos. Most 3rd T/As with the bird on the hood were called venetian blind hood birds. They weren't full hood birds. Fourth gens also left. Sail panel birds are different.
