Tire selection

Well when I got my 92 RS it had 225-60R-16's on the front and 245-50Z-16's on the back. I like the way the back tires look but the front ones look too tall. Any suggestions for the front?

Thanks,
Mike

245/50's all around is what IROCs came stock with. Looks good IMO.

I got some Yokohama Z rated tires for my GTA from tires.com for about $120 a piece! They're awesome tires. I forget at the moment what model they are, but they have the two big channels in them, and the tread looks like arrows. They grip like crazy! Nice and quiet on the road too. If you order from tires.com, there is no tax, and shipping is free as long as you live in the US. I ordered mine and got them the NEXT day! You just need a way to mount them. You could pay Sears or somebody to do it for like $20 or so. I have access to a tire machine and a balancer. For those tires, you'd pay double that if you bought them at a local tire store. I got the 255/50Z/16 size. They look bad ***! Matt

Kuhmo=poo poo. Gotta love tread squrim!

Id suggest a set of firehawksz50 ep's here:
Tire racks'

Ive used the 712's before and i wouldnt suggest them to anyoen unless they liek a cheap tire. I currently run the sz50's and everyone who has had them will tell you the same: their absolutely outstanding.
