It is possible to change the ground effects from any year, 82-92. I'm assuming your car doesn't already have ground effects since its a SC, so you will have to drill holes to mount them.
yes i was assuming i had to drill holes, etc... i have just heard rumors that the gfx for later models were shorter or vice versa. i want to put on gfx from the 91-92 with the non functional air scoops....

'Shorter' is actually referring to the height of the ground effects as in how for up the body they go. For example (not accurate).. the piece that fits to the door itself on the early style fx is 3" in height, the later style is 4.5" (not true size measurements, just thrown out to show the size, height, differences).
Actual length, from door edge to door edge (or any part of the car really), never changed from 82 to 92.
