T-tops

Okay I have a question... Today I went outside to take of my t-tops to go ride around, and I noticed that a piece of the outer weather stripping had broken off. Don't know how or when. Anyways is there any way to replace that piece or am I screwed and I have to buy new t-tops. I attached a picture below of the piece (I don't have any pictures of it with part missing).

Thanks for any help.
Steve

yea, maybe this picture is better... And if you are able to replace it... How would I go about that... Where would I get weather stripping for that and how would I remove the existing one and replace it with the new one.

Get the parts number CD and look up the GM Parts number. You should be able to order the Part number online from Rockauto.com

You can get the numbers off my site (check sig), check prices using GMParts Direct and here are the instructions to replace it...

awesome

my window actually on one side went outside part of the window seal at the front too...

the door wouldn't shut properly for a long time and i only figured out it was the t-tops a couple of months ago, i thought it was some other part of the door making a loud knack when it closed.

so i took the t-tops off 2 weeks ago, brought them in the basement, got a blowdryer, heated up the rubber, and bent it back to shape. now my door closes properly, but the stripping is still a little bent....

My rubber pieces are fine on my car, they are just faded, i was wondering if it would be ok to spray paint it black again?? or would that be a bad idea??? just wondering..I repainted the metal trim on the t-tops and it looks great....i was just thinking about painting the faded sides..but hell i dont know...someone give me some insight on this

There is actually a product you can buy that you rub on and it will blacken the rubber right up. I cant remember the name offhand, but ive used it and it works great, you just have to rub for a while.
