hood louvers or blisters...
hood louvers or blisters...
I have both, the hood louvers my camaro came with and I recently purchased some used blisters off a 91z for cheap. I am still undecided!!! Your opinions please!

I think I'm gonna have to go with the louvers, I love the way they look, and the blisters are everywhere around here.

Cowl! Oops, that wasn't an option
I guess it would depend on the rest of the car. If it's got updated ground effects it really looks sharp with the blisters. If it's the older style and the rear spiler is the 3 piece then louvers look good.

B l i s t e r s - Let's face it, neither one functions, as least the blisters aren't crummy plastic (and I personally just think they look better, but hey, that's what you asked for).

i prefer blisters over louvers...
blisters just look more updated and modern, the louvers are a little retro for me!
but i disagree with blisters being easy to clean... whenever i wash my car and wax it, it looks perfect... then i start driving and all the water caked up under the blisters leaks down onto my hood and i gotta stop and clean the dried up water off it later

I say blisters.... there's far fewer of them on the road, just look cooler IMHO. They really don't look bad on a car with the older GFX & 3 piece either

my vote is for the louvers all the way!!
is it me or do the blisters kinda look like what divers wear on their feet (having a brain fart, cant recall the name of them)

So...your saying that it's easier to clean a set of louvers? I think it's 10 times easier to clean the blisters then the louvers.....stuff can get caught in the louvers....where as the blisters...they are sleek and nothing can really get caught in them. Sure, water might run out of them after a wash....but.....nothing can get stuck in them like the louvers....but what do I care...I have the SS hood :lala:

yOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH EITHER ONE. I GOT THE LOUVERS BUT WOULD LOVE TO HAVE BLISTERS TOO. WHEN I GET MY NEXT CAR IT WILL HAVE BLISTERS JUST SO I CAN HAVE A CHOICE.
