i was thinking about putting a cowl hood on my car it's a 5 inch cowl. do you guys think i should go with the cowl or go with stock. by the way this is going on a '86 T/A.

 

Can you car back up the look of a 5" cowl?

 

I say cowl...but unless you have the engine to need the 5"...you should go with something not as aggressive like a 2" or 3" IMO. I think there is nothing worse than seeing a bone stock 6cyl. Camaro or Firebird with a huge cowl hood...except maybe racing slicks on the same bone stock vehicle.

 

Stay stock unless you can go 3" or under, that is if you dont need 5" of space

 

wow 5" is huge. I'd stay stock... unless you need the space for an air cleaner.

 

I say do the cowl definitely, but go smaller, like no bigger than 3 inch.
