pilot's headlight conversion kit?
Hello everyone,
I went to Autozone this morning to kill time by looking at the same stuff I always do & expecting to see something new, well this time I did!
I was walking through the headlight seciton and decided to look at the super white silvania head lights because I'm sorta tired of my old yellowed lights, well to my surprise right in front of me was a big box that read "Pilot Headlight conversion kit" they were a set of headlight housings to convert our cars from enclosed head lgihts to the plugable ones!
I found this very interesting, I pulled one of the headlight enclosers out of the box and it real glass and eveyrthing, just put them on our cars an vuala, plugable head lights.
Now they were $35 bucks for the set & didn't come with any bulbs or instructions, just the housings. My question is how hard is it/ is it possible to convert the existing wiring to accept a plugable light, and do you guys think it owuld be worth it to convert????
p.s. They also had those hideous lights with the neon loop around the enclosure like in a previouse thread.

I tried them in my car with xeon bulbs... they cracked.
also they had a good amount more drain than my current sylvania silverstars... those are worth the cash. Amazing white light, brighter than anything..
