205/50/15?

Will a 205/50/15 tire fit on my stock 15*7 camaro rim? Anyone got a pick. Thinking of picking up a set of kumhos for $220 for a set of 4.

the side wall on thoes tires are gunna very very very small compared to your older ones. thats 50% of 205 wich is 125... i have 215-60's, and that leaves a LOT of fender gap. They will fit, and i guess for a cheap set of tires they will work. Make sure thats the speed rating is ok too, or you will go wear them down with hight speeds. What im trying to say is dont put Passenger tires on a sports car. I wouldnt go lower then H rating on your tires. I have BFG Comp T/A'a 215-60/15 H rated tire. They are good all around tires, and they can handle up to 125-130 mph. I plan on getting fatter tires for the rear of the car when these wear out, but by then ill have a set of 16 in irocs. Hope that gives ya a little help.

bigals87z28 - I see you have an SLP emblem on your rear bumper! I have the exact same thing except I put it to the right of the rear emblem on the bumper. It looks likt it was supposed to be there! Did you go to the SLP meet at Englishtown last year? I was there.

It's in October? I didn't hear anything about it yet, I got a thing in the mail about it last year and I haven't seen anything yet.

Ok, thanks for the pics. How about some pics of some 225/50/15's if anyone has some. Will this fit on the stock rim?

215/65R15's will be 26 inches high(usually the stock size)
205/50R15's will be 23 inches high.
225/50R15's will be 23.8 inches high.
Both way too short IMO--you end up with a huge gap.
