After polishing rims....

After polishing rims....
do you suggest shooting some clearcoat over them or just leaving them as is and polishing them every now and then? I'm just starting on them, but i'd like to know ahead of time whether or not to do this. Thanks a bunch.

I leave all my polished as is, because sooner or later clearcoat will chip/flake/or turn yellow.

They have a great product that can be used to keep polished parts shinney for a long time. Its expensive but worth every cent
