I now have pics of my CUSTOM camaro modifications......MUST SEE
Very sweet ride man, except like many people, I do have to disagree with the wing. Still, the car as a whole looks really slick, some major improvements there
. Now get some major performance goodies to back the aggressive look up
!
By the way, what tips do you have on there? They look pretty sweet...

the car looks nice, but i agree with most everyone else, i hate the rims. the wing is OK i guess, doesnt look that bad on that car. And the tips....someone needs to break them off so u can get some new 3" outlet 24" long chrome tips...
. also that grill looks like it doesnt quite fit the car, same as the headlights, they need something around them so they fill the hole more.

When do you plan to install the brakes? And do you plan to install rear drums at all.
All of your money and work has paid off. Very very nice car.

You do have probaly the nicest camaro on here. I would lower the car i didnt see anything about a drop on it but i think that would make it absolutely perfect. I remeber the disturbing pics of when yuo were doing the shaving and vent installs, come along way good job.:hail: :hail: :hail: :hail: :hail: :hail:

I like the entire job. As far as everone talking about the wing, I think that is because most people associate it with a "honda", but what a lot of people forget about wings are they first started coming on cars like the superbird. A long cry from a honda and I am pretty sure not to many people would disagree with a 426 hemi.
I'm glad someone is finally putting rear wings where they belong; on a rear wheel drive car!
Sweet ride man love the fenders. What kind of wheels are those?
James

I must admit, you've brought it all together. I basically like it all except, like many others - the wing, although it does look better without the stock spoiler. The wheels aren't really my taste either, but they are growing on me.
Now - I'm done nitpicking and I've got to tell you that I fully appreciate the time and effort you have in your car. I can't imagine how I would find the time to do that.
Overall, it works, IMHO, it's just not what I would have done.
Oh, one dumb question - where are your parking lights?

Awww... Flynlow, those poor brakes look lost in there! You need some bigger rotors my man. Great job on all the work. If you find something to make the headlights look a little bigger, I'd say do that. And put the body side moldings back on.
My philosophy: if you're gonna shave the car, shave everything except gfx. No SS hood, no fender vents, no badges, etc etc. But if you're gonna bulk up the car, don't just do it to the front half of the car!
All in all, Ii'm still jealous.

It looks agressive, but looks are very deceiving.....I have a 305 TBI under the hood....
Don't worry, I'm starting to save up for the 350 Swap, although i plan to stay TBI, I'm gonna add some go-fast goodies.....
, so hopefully by then it can back up some of it's looks......

How much did you pick that hood up for, I want to pick mine up very soon, expecially seeing how it looks on another teal car
how much did all that stuff cost to buy/have installed?
....I don't have exact figures, but anything in specific you want to know about??The billet grill is from www.godfathercustoms.com
The hood is from www.americansportscar.com and it cost me $460, but i believe they have gone up in price since i got mine....

Ha, I can't believe you actually did it. I didn't know if you would actually go through with the 2ndgen scoops. Nice to finally see it done. It still looks a bit large, but I think it looks cool, not too mention the Silverado headlights, Billet Grill, and SS hood. I'm still not all that keen on the wing, but overall I think it looks sharp.
I like how in 2 fast 2 furious he had the nitrous purge come from under the front bumper on the sides. It looked like a bull snortin it was sweet. They actualy had some american cars also a nice SYC 69 camaro. It was an ok movie i guess alot of it was a little unreal.

Love the car! Looks awesome! Now you have to bring it up to Atl so I can see it!
Headlight mod, oh yeah! Totally rocking! And it looks so good w/o the side moldings. Lave them off. W/o them it really accentuates the fact that the car is shaved! Looks so smooth!

Hey- I know you posted this years ago, but I'm trying to find a plug for my antenna on the passenger side fender, because I don't listen to the radio- and I think it'd look better with no antenna, and that hole capped off. I have an '85 IROC with a power antenna. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks. Paul pansuini@rochester.rr.com

Dont like the wheels, the rest is pretty cool.
Those wheels are more showcar wheels, I like wheels (And styling elements in general) that look like they belong on a racecar. Just a personal taste thing. Well-done car. I like it a lot, even the wing looks good if you ask me. It woudln't look too out of place on a race car, so I'm a fan.
I'd rather have some chrome SLP-ZR1s, or something like this on there:

So as you can see, we obviously just have different opinions on style. But I've got nothing but respect for you and your car. Great job.

i prefer to let 4 yr old threads rest in piece, but i guess that's just me...nothing wrong with flipping through the archives to get some ideas, but the man isn't even around anymore to receive your praises.
...this is what happens when nuggets get hold of a search feature that finally works, haha. whatever, i'm going to bed.

Yeah, I am going to lock this thread... there is no need to keep commenting on a car that, iirc, burnt to the ground, though if I am wrong on that someone PM my and I'll edit this post.
