Bandit 2 90 Trans Am

One of my friends is looking at getting one of these. The car is in really good condition body and interior wise. I think it is just a L03 w/ auto though. I think it has about 130,000 miles on it. It has t tops. It is number 75 out of 600. Does anyone know what this would be worth. It is a real nice looking car other than the fake shaker hood. I think that he said that it smokes a little, but the plan is to put a 350 in it in about a year. The dealer said he wants 4900 or something, but my friend said that he told him he would only give him 3500. He said he would consider it. Would this be reasonable for this car? It seems to run and drive good.

"Bandit" edition third gens were done by more than one company. So far ive seen them done by a company in TN, and another company somewhere else. There really is no value in the conversion, since really it is decals and a fake shaker hood, there is no real performance mod to the car. It's not a common car, but really no worth. In fact, ive seen em go for 1500 or so.

yeah they're just base model birds with a different hood and wheels, so they're not actually worth any more than a plain bird. but they are sexy though

Well, this style had a different style ground effects, and is lowered. It also has special seats.

That is what it is. So what do you think it would be worth. I think I may suggest he try to find a normal Trans Am with a better motor unless he is real stuck on this car. It looks real clean and has no rust. It has some clear coat peal but not to bad. I think it is a nice looking car(still not to fond of the hood) but dont think it is worth what he is asking for it.
