MGC.... *hangs head*

Not very happy with the results... I first used teh scratch X and that looked like it was gunna work on the little part i used, but after doing a bigger part, and then the whole hood, i really didnt like it and I didnt like the ruff feel it gave and didnt take out any scratches or swirl marks. After loathing about that, I put on the MGC and buffed it off... it still felt very ruff. I am very disapointed.. The turtle wax I had on before felt smooth as silk.. One thing i will say, is that my car looks like a darker red.. The only thing i can think of why it went so crappy was that i did it at night, but even still, it shouldnt of been that bad.. Ill have to look at it again when i get home. its garaged till the TGO Nats this weekend.

It's a good wax, if you want smooth, go with a clay bar first, then Step 1 Megs Cleaner Wax, then MGC. That should be a great combo, I'm going to do that Friday morning, cept not using MGC, but F113.

I agree with Mark...you should always start with a cleaner compuond first, then work your way to a polish, then a wax. If you don't skip any steps it will look great and will only require minimal upkeep.
