On 69's the stripes came up on the sides and didn't go across the hood.

If it isn't too much to ask I'd like to see a pic without the flames but will understand if you don't post one.

hey would anyone here like to help me PS my car?

i want to:
remove the antenna and its reflection
shave the door handles
remove the bump strip on the door
put 17" TT2s on it (thoes are 16s now)
put a 92 Z28 "bowtie" grill on it...



anyone up to the challenge?

 

also, instead of TT2s, you could use thin spoke polished alum C5 rims, or the Z06 rims.....

the Z06s were a bit much, but yea, those look great... i think thats the direction my car is going to go in.. i know im shaving the handles, removing the strip, and doing the grill, but i wasnt sure on the wheels..... thanks ALOT

btw, thanks to that pic, i realized that the side marker would stand out like a sore thumb.....

 

can someone please photoshop me this Idea...I want to use my IROC(one below) in front of a waving american flag...the long side of the flag so u can see the stars/stripes...I dont care how many stars and such just as long as u get the Idea. then above the car have it say "G0D BLESS THE" and below the car have it say "IROC-Z" I would like the IROC-Z be like the decal font but I'm not picky so any font will do... It doesnt matter what colors to use its all basiclly up to the photoshopper...

exactly what scale did you resize my pic to? either a percent or the size of the orignal image risized....

 

well take out the hood slats but keep how they dip in and then add the scoops at the end of the dips as like they are in the 4th gen but using the 3rd gen dip in. Does that make sense? hope so

 

oh and if you dont remember what scale it is, do you have the orignal in that size you can just attach here?

 

I scaled it down 80% of the original plus I cropped it some too

EDIT -> new pic attached.

its not easy to make good-looking stripes from this angle. front/back views are much better for this sort of thing. I couldn't continue the stripes onto the bumpercover without it looking stupid, so i stopped it above the nose. maybe somone else can help you better.

 

Looks pretty damn good. I think ill like it better with the stripes all the way down and covering the louver things. Thanks

Yeah, I didn't think they would look that dark on my car. I am in the process of polishing the wheels on the car now in the first pic.

But they are sweet wheels, maybe on my next car.

can you take my car with the thin spoke C5 wheels, (attached above on page 4 in this thread) and make it a metallic orange? smilar to sunset orange metallic in bright light? not the darker "burnt" sunset orange metallic...

 

um.. i just kinda took a stab in the dark at the color - i don't know what sunset orange metallic (in bright light) looks like.. but this looks cool to me
