Well, there are some places that the clear coat is coming off. Like the deck lid and the front pillars. It also has lots of chips in the front spoiler.
It is lowered with Intrax Springs that most people said made the car too low, but I like the looks of it. It rides pretty rough and only has about 2 " of clearance below the Lakewood bellhousing. Oh well. Thanks

I like it, but may I make a siggestion of getting another hatch for it to lose that bubble looking third brake light since you are getting it painted. never did like those things ever since my 86 SC had one and I think it just looks like an afterthought by GM.

Ya, I thought about a new hatch, but all the boneyards around here want way too much money for them. I am going to super chevy this weekend maybe I'll find one there. Thanks

I haven't decided. I like the color and I love red, but I'm leaning towards the 99 Viper red. It is eyepoping. what other shades should I think about?

Have any of you attemped 17 x 11s ZR-1s in the back? I am wanting some wheels and tires but I can't find any good deals right now. I want some big 11s on the back that way maybe I can hook this thing up but right now it is all spin through 2nd gear. And that is with 3.08 rear gear. Are 11s hard to fit to our cars?

Here is the motor pic. Not exactly a perfect install, I didn't paint anything, only cleaned all the dirt and grime off of everything. I have been thinking about pulling everything back out and doing a full restoration on the motor bay. Probably not, I like driving it too much.

If you really want it to hook, forget about 17xanything. The sidewall is gonna be too stiff to get any kind of real traction, and your limited to drag radials. Just get yourself a pair of 15x10 something or others and run a pair of DR's, or even a full slick. get yourself some gears too. You have a lot of motor there, don't skimp on the traction. just my .02
very nice car by the way...

I agree to a point, but here is what I asked myself when I started on this car. Do I want it to be a straight liner or a handler? I chose handler because I wanted it lowered. If I put some of those drag slicks or any 15" wheel on it, I'll be all over the place in the corners. I think that the 17x11s in the back will give me some pretty **** good traction, after all, what do they put on the Z06 and the older vipers? I think it is a good size, but has anyone put them on these third genners? I have seen some pictures, but I haven't read anyones thoughts on whether it is difficult to do or not.
Looks good! A little too low for me, but it looks good and its messing up your kidneys not mine
Man people around here give away rear hatches because they have nowhere to put them. I see them all the time going for less than $100.
