Wheel sizes etc.etc.etc.
Wheel sizes etc.etc.etc.
I have noticed that there is alot on this subject, and I have done a couple of searches. I've read a lot post about it. I copied and pasted some of the post as a reference when I go to purchase them. I believe that may be my problem. I'm confused. I have a 92RS that my daughter drives and it currently has 88-90 16x8 iroc wheels on it. I want to go larger but too large. I would also like the wheels to stay under the fenders. If anyone has some specific info on the size and offsets of the wheels it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Randy

I'm not really sure. I thinkin maybe a little of both. I don't really want any specail adapters or spacers though. I guess I'd like to keep it sort of simple( the sizes that generally don't have any major issues). Oh Yeh, I'd really like to keep the tires in the fenders.

8's in front in any way....8.5 only if the manufacturer sticks to odd sizes.
again 9-9.5 in rear. 10's will work but i wouldn't push my luck unless your absolutely sure you want too go wider. 10's aren't bad at all and unless your riding on air or hydraulic fluid they will be just fine. 10.5 and wider you will need to roll fenders with anything lower then a 1 3/4" drop from stock.
18's with a quality tire will be fine in just about any road circumstance. add at least $500 to the bill when jumping from 17-18. for a girls car i wouldn't go over 17 seeing as how they seem to pay less attention. very easy to curb rash 18's or loose them to a big pothole if you aren't careful. if you have a reasonable budget go with at least a two piece wheel...much stronger and lighter as well.
if the car is staying stock ride height i'd stick with 17x9.5's all around if the price becomes convenient. if the car is a little lower then stock (ie: high mileage suspension or lowering kit) stick with 8's in the front and 9-9.5 in the rear or make life easier and stick with 8's all around. after all of the different sizes of driven on my car 8 in the front is by far the widest i'll go and 10 in the rear without body mods.
good luck.
