I got bumped yesterday, it wasn't that hard, and I think the fact that the roads were slick saved me. When he bumped my car I did a little slide forward and I don't see/feel any cracks and there is no paint scratches or anything, I think I lucked out!

 

Thats good for u when that happened 2 me it was just after i got my car painted on a hot day and it took off a 6x4 mark of paint, and cracked the bumper!!! I was so mad!

 

Holy crap would I be annoyed if that happened to me...


My story gets better though... The Tread of a tractor trailer had fallen off while I was behind it before the rear end.. so I got lucky and it went under my car but in the process it bounced and somehow managed to take my lower radiator pipe off.. There went all my coolant.. So I pulled to the side of the road and waited 45 minutes for my dad to show up (with the 35th anniversary cammy.. )

By the point I got home was when I got rear ended, and if there was damage, there would be no way I could have delt with that guy after all that I had already gone through.. What makes it better, is if my dad had't had clearance to go, and then went when the guy hit me I would have slid into my dad, I don't know if any damage would have happened to his car and the front end of mine, but I'm glad I didn't have to find out...
