speaking of louvers
I picked up an iroc hood in great condition for 20 bucks.. however the louvers could use a good cleaning, whats the best way, or should i just re paint them?

nice find, especially with the louvers, are they sunfaded or what? if so spray paint them with a glossy black, i heard of people doin that to there louvers and heard some great turnouts

About a month ago I was looking at my louvers and they looked really old and faded so I tried some of this 3M polishing compound I have and just rubbed it in with a cloth and it make them shine like new.

If you happen to repaint them..I would go with a Satin Black spray. Gloss would make'em look cheap...and would show every little piece of debri that would end up in the paint.
