Anyone have intrax springs on a camaro w/ 85-92 GFX?
If anyone does, I was wondering... how easy is it to scrape the front lower ground effect/lip? I'm thinking about getting these springs, but I when I had my dad drive my car around the block and he pulled back into the driveway, it looked like it was REALLY close to scraping with the pro-kit already... I'll have to go check again... my driveway isn't very steep at all, but I'm afraid it might be juusssst steep enough that if I had the intrax I'd scrape....
... and there's nothing I hate more then seeing a camaro with a scrapped up lip. Any help would be appreciated.

thinking of buying the ones in the classifieds? lol, me too! Not sure if that is the way i want to go though. I think they are one of the lowest set of springs that they make for our cars. later

Here is a pic of my bro's old RS with the Intrax springs. He would scrape the front spoiler everywhere.

Hg, you posted almost the same thread on 09/09 here. As far as scraping, I've never scraped the lower GFX, however that air dam takes a punishing EVERY DAY I drive it would seem.
Here's a bit of what I said in that thread:
They're cheap, and out perform stock by a long shot. I don't have anything else besides factory springs to compare them too, so all I am certain of is that they are a great improvement. It rode just fine with the 16's, however with the 18's it can get a little rigid at times. I would like to go a 'lil lower than 2", HOWEVER I don't want to rub (10.7" of meat up front), and the curb clearence is astonishing, about a couple milimeters over the average curb.
Da stance...
