That picture looks straight from the 80's...but its a cool maro, the rims are nice too, somewhat remind me of some Boyd Rodder 5s, but I know they're not.

It'll say in the article, and I know I have the mag it was featured in, but which pile do I start looking through?! Chevy High Performance, Super Chevy, or Hot Rod? 
I do know that it has a stroked 400ci small block (420ci) with a funky painted TPI setup with the MONSTER Lingenfelter style plenum. They do look like CenterLine wheels though.

I've got most of the article (or at least I used to) posted right along with that picture on the sister-site to the one that you linked from.
Check out the pics section of http://iroc.fbody.com and you should find the pics listed under the 1989 heading. They are centerline rims of some sort. If worse comes to worse, the links section of my page still has a link to Tom's page. His page had full size pics of the magazine articles that I scanned for him, plus he has an email address on his site.
Sadly, he sold that car to somebody in Jersey a few years ago, and I think that guy in turn sold it to somebody else. Since then I've lost track of the car.
