Looks a little "mad-max beyond thunderdome"
Kinda mean lookin', but the tips look like they stick out a little too far. Would probably look killer if they were flush with the rear bumper cover.
Just a thought!

ok, here is a shot....not very good though. I agree that they would look better if they stuck in a little more flush with the back bumper...but when my car was on the left, it looked great...I got it down on the ground....and it didn't look as great. I guess it just kind of works like that though. The right side, the very outter one is crooked....gotta get that fixed...

It would be very easy to have the exhaust shop shorten the length of the tips to make them sit flush with the rear bumper cover while they are gettting the angles right.
How much cash do you have to spend? I could give you a few options on how to make the car quicker!

Badass. What are those 2.5 inch tips? I have almost the same ones except they are flat instead of angle tipped. Mine stick out about that far too, I like it, but I no longer can get into my one buddy's upward sloping driveway cause the darn things scrape!
edit: oops, i see you said their 3.5. Sweeet.

well....I don't want to make a drag car or anything....and I don't want to change the engine or anything. To start...$500-$1000. But...I got a total of $53,000 out of the settlement...lol...but..I'm going to save most of that. Thought a ZZ9 cam would be a good start...maybe a different intake, SLP runners...there are alot of options....but I'm not really good with mechanic stuff....I'm more into paint and body....
Sweet! Thats what I was going to get for tips, but the exahust shop sold them to someone else because they didn't come in at the same time as the rest of my exhaust came in
.
What brand are they BTW?

I like them! It always looks better on the lift unfortunately.. Things can seem to be lined up when you're putting them on, but once it hits the ground you realize how much adjustment is needed..

There are a few bolt-ons that would be a breeze for you to do.
AS&M large tube runners, TPIS big-mouth base, Holley 52mm Throttle body, Holley billet AFPR, NGK UR-4 plugs, MSD 8.5 mm wires, MSD blaster GM coil, edelbrock aluminum water pump, march power and amp pullies, gut air-box with K&N's, Hotchkis LCA's, random tech or spohn adj. tranny mounted tq-arm, TDS wonderbar etc.......
THere's close to 2,000 or less worth of parts that you could EASILY put on the car (as long as you know how-to tighten and loosen bolts with a wrench and or a ratchet!) Very easy stuff !
You do all that at once to your car and you will notice a BIG kick in the pants!
It would take you less than a full Saturday to do all those mod's if you had all those parts in front of you. Trust me, all that would put a big smile on your face and you still have all of us here on the boards to help you if you get stuck on something!
You have a clean ride already, now it's time to make it fast!
Good luck!

I always thought having dual 3" or bigger tips would just be too big, but those look good in the pics.

Yea I would go back and see if you cant get them to remount them for you, they might do it for free. The one on the right looks a little crooked too, turned a little clockwise? I got mind mounted flush with the bumper and I think the look great, the guy actually got out a ruler and everything and measured the distance from the outer edge of the bumper and the distance from the tip to the top of the bumper. They looked great until i..did a 180 hit a curb, snapped my axle and have my whole car resting by the muffler over on the wheel, on top of a curb. I doubt anyone but me can even tell, even after all that the right one is just about .5 and in pushed out! So they did a damn good job welding it on.
Im thinking of having two tips (not duals..two tips) put on each side, and have a split in the primary tailpipe since if I want it perfect again im either gonna have to have the muffler rewelded or the right tailpipe dismounted, grind down and rewelded. What do you ya'll think?

wow....looks like I got alot of replies! Thanks everyone. Well....I got all of that money because I was in a car accident. Most of you probably don't remember my old 84 Z28..cloned to a 91-92 Z. That how I came up with my TGO name. A lady rearended me while I was sitting at a stop light, totaled me car, and now I have to buldging disks in my back...which is permanent. So....it's really not that fun.

Those sound like some pretty good mods....alot of those I have already done....you can check my sig for some of'em.

I'm not sure if they could be moved to the right unless I could get new tailpipes and everything. Inorder for them to get moved over....the actual tailpipes from the muffler would have to be moved outwards. Ya know what I mean?
