SS hood optional?

Is the LS1 ss style hood that i see on many of the third gens in here functional??

If so, can u post an under hood pic?

Im not sure if it comes with the scoop cut out or if it has to be done when you get it, I think some are some arent. To get it truely functional you have to make an air box to direct the incoming air through a filter into the engine. Im not sure if that is an aftermarket buy or a do it yourselfer either. It has been done use the search and you will find it im sure.

I have posted the underhood picture numerous times, i don't have it on this computer, so do a search and you can come accross it.....

Is it functional? It cools the engine.....:lala:
