Oh man I got some cool car parts

- I got me a new stereo receiver, one of them Alpine CDA-9807.

- I also got a road kit with flares, 12 volt tire pump, and stuff, pretty cool.

- Them I got a jumpstart battery thing. Its like a 12 bolt battery that you hook up to your batter when its dead and it charges it so you can start it.

- Circuit City Gift card $300 because my parents didn't know what size speakers I needed. (and also since I work at circuit city)

Here is what shes got:

355, 12.5:1 Lunati Pistons, Steel crank, Pink rods, 7 qt pan, Edelbrock geardrive, 750 holley DP, Extrude honed Victor Jr intake, 1.5 and 1.6 Crane gold roller rockers, Crane Gold stud girdle. Ported Dart II heads 2.08/1.6, Mechanical roller cam 264/272 @.050 with .624/.667 lift on a 106 (Yikes) and a Griffen aluminum radiator.

Runs through a crazy 700r4 that our racecar tranny guy built, ive never felt any car shift so hard. Uses a B&M console shifter. The rear has an Auburn LSD and Richmond 4.56 gears.

This is a T-top car, and it doesnt have SFCs! That should tell you how little he drives it and how slow he goes. Its never been to the track. Thats my goal for this year, weld in some SFC's and see what shell do!

Man I wish it was that way. Instead someone broke into my Iroc ripped the console to pieces to get to my Kenwood and then all my personal stuff in the back seat. They will pay cause S/O got prints. I want to hurt so A'holes real bad. So maybe next X-mas I'll get a replacement sound system in my ride. Bummer.

Have a safe and prosperous new years guys and Gals!

also got a speeding ticket Christmas Eve.... very nice cop........
Well now before you jump on the cop, how fast was it? I mean, a ticket for 10mph over the limit, yeah hes just being an *******, but a ticket for like 25mph+ over the limit, maybe he did you a favor by keeping you alive.....

Anyway, no car parts for me for x-mas, but i did get a new impact wrench, and complete new craftsman socket set

I don't blame the cop- like the others said he's just doing his job, he was just really really unfriendly. It's the first ticket I've ever gotten and I'm 21 so 5 years without a ticket is ok with me. And let's just say I definitely deserved it........

It's almost crazy how much different I drive now. Not that I drove crazy before, but I'm just extra aware of obeying traffic laws now. It's amazing what a ticket will do to ya. He did his job for sure.

On a side note, regarding my blackouts that I got, does anyone else have these? It's for the 82-84 firebirds/ T/A's, I believe it's the knight rider type. The only way to put it on is by velcro strips which I really don't like. Any secrets I should know about? Happy new year everyone!!!

Since I just bought my thirdgen, have never had a project car before and had jack for tools, I got a 318-piece Craftsman toolset, 3-ton floor jack, a workbench, rolling toolchest, and a worklamp with retractable cord.

Oh yeah, and a Firebird shirt to wear while I'm working on the car.

I didn't actually get parts for christmas, but I got cash, which is the next best thing. The R.S. is getting some new tailpipes, an alignment, and hopefully some subframe connectors. I'm getting some longtube headers for my T.A. too, but that's my gift to myself since it's comming out of my pocket. It sucks though because once you start buying parts you never want to stop.

SLP Zexel Torsen take-off posi-trac differential and 3.73 Motive gears....but it's gonna be a while before they go on the car...kinda more focused on getting the car to run properly at this point (attempting to get WinALDL data to burn a chip)

Mostly money for me. I used it to purchase some of my HSR system. I suppose my best gift was to be able to sell off my entire modified tpi setup so I could purchase my HSR without having to spend out of pocket money! Got the intake, manifold, rails and a new Holley 58mm TB.
