85 T/A to 91-92 T/A

i want to make my trans am look like a 91-92 trans am . I have an 85 . I know i gotta do the front and rear bumper , and the undersupports. What else . i need the gfx. Do i need to change the front fenders to do this of can i keep my fenders with the vents in them .

i found this pic of a car on ebay once. i think it looks pretty good with the 85-90 gfx and rear bumper but with the 91-92 nose. WHat would be involved in doing this.

You would need the bumper cover and support, new fog lights and wiring, new turn signals and wiring, and remove all or part of the black trim pieces from the headlights. I believe the front part of the ground effects (on the front fenders) also need to be changed to match up to the nose. Then, of course, your new paint, etc.

I like it with the 91-92 nose and 85-90 GFX.

You'll need to buy 91-92 headlights as well or the bezels will hit the new nose. You can remove the headlight bezels and leave them off, but the headlight itself will either just miss the bumper or graze it- depending on how your light & bumper are adjusted.

I bought '91 headlights when I did mine and then sold my old headlights on eBay. My net cost was about $5 after I sold the old ones.
