lamborghini door kit?
lamborghini door kit?
has anyone seen a third gen with the lambo door kit on it?? i see kits for 1500 bucks......at it LOOKS as though with a good week, a welder, some steel, and struts....you could make these kits for about 150 bucks.....
anyone have any ideas on how we as group of people with limited money to spend on crap we dont need...could get this done fairly cheap....
IF anyone is seriously interested, im going to start looking into it and drawing up schmtics, get someone who welds and try some ideas out .....so please feel free to share what knowledge you have in this area *welders!!*

before this thing gets out of hand do yourself a favor and search for it first. then if you have a specific question you won't get odd remarks.
1. you could possibly make "a" kit for 150 dollars in materials but the countless hours and r&d would not make up for what you would spend on it yourself.
2. thirdgen doors are extremely heavy, if not up there with one of the heavier doors manufactured for a "sport" type vehicle. because of this as well as the awkwardness of how the door works in will require alot more then a simple bracket and support.
it can and has been done but it will take some serious knowledge, time and money to do so....otherwise there would be alot more running around with them.
