My windshield wiper blade sort of fell off at the end of it and the metal scratched my windshield a little. You can just barely feel the scratch if you run your finger over it. i think i heard somewhere that if u can feel the scratch, you cant get it out. Is that true and if not is there anyway to polish it out or something? maybe a filler of some type that will make it less visible?

You are correct. If you feel it you will probably never get rid of it. Eastwood sells a glass buffing kit that takes a little glass off, not sure how that would work on the windshield, you could call them and ask if it would work.

That new stuff they are selling for glasses, that fills in scratches might help.

My mom's windshild got scratched by the wiper on her old grand am and I was never able to get rid of it, but it was deep.

if you run your finger nail over it and it catches an edge of the scratch its not repairable.
