My 1989 Camaro originally came with Medium Grey Metallic paint and I have NEVER seen one before, its now a very dull grey. Well, I think I saw one in a junkyard, but it was very dull. Do I have a "rare" color? And if anybody here has picture of a medium grey metallic color camaro or firebird, please post them. I'm debating whether I should paint it back to the factory color or silver.

The original grey for your car was probably Gun Metal Grey. Having it repainted that color looks very nice. Suggest you read here.

 

I know for a fact that the original color is not gunmetal grey. The buildsheet says medium grey matalic. My car is painted grey right now and for some reason the right spoiler is the original color and it looks nothing alike.
