so I bought a 25th anniversary decklid emblem for my car...

came with a nice freaken chip on the metal border...

i got really pissed, so i decided that since the red part wasn't damaged at all, i would tape up the inside, and sand the dent down...

here is a picture of what i have sofar... i am going to spray it tomorrow with duplicolor metalcast silver base paint, and then clear coat it to protect it...

i'll keep the pics updated as i go through the process... at the moment all sides are even (although it looks like they're not due to light reflecting off my scanner...)

the reason i have to paint it is because believe or not but under the silver border is a copper type color... so... right now some of the emblem is silver, other parts are copper... gotta make everythin' match
