Well I finally got my runners polished and and installed here is how they turned out: i also bought some chrome valve cover for it.

This is what it looked liked only a year ago.



Since then I have got new overflow and washer bottles new factory cai off or an 88 Formula 350 deleted the AC pump and I have painted misc. things And I am probably forgetting some more stuff.

looking good, now you need to find a vette alum plenum extension. they are still avalible from gm i got mine from ebay how lazy is that but i saved a buck. Dont forget you need new screws with the alum ext. Whats the next project?

Yeah, that plastic plenum extension looks tacky next to that shiny plenum. Go to gmpartsdirect.com and order the plenum extension and the 3 screws to go with it. All for $25-30 shipped. Then polish that as well and it will look slick.

Yeah I have been planning on doing that But just hav'nt had the time, But it will get done dont worry

I guess you call it the two step method I Started off with Tripoli on a spiral buff then moved to White Rouge on a loose buff. For the runners I just got out my Dremel and polishing kit and used those buffs to polish that. I think the total time was about 15-16 hours but I could do one much faster if I did another one.
