Twas the night before polishing....

OK, guys, a few quick last minute questions.

First, since last time I used the 300 grit through 1500 grit method, I have to sand back down to 400 before the emory right? That kinda makes sense.

Second, is there a difference between jewles rouge and white rouge? Lowes hardware only listed by number, not by name. The "3" step was Emory...the "4" step was Tripoli.....then "5" had no name in the computer....and the final step #6 was jewlers rouge. Worse case is that I'll go to 4 steps.....or heck, I'll just see how it looks and decide on the fly....

....if you know the difference, lemme know!

...Pics tomorrow!

Have fun. I did that with my '91 formula ws6 swirlie wheels and I will NEVER do that again. The amount of time I spent doing it...I could have worked OT and had custom wheels.

I suppose if you just HAVE to keep the stock wheels though, the results are pretty nice.

Good luck.
