They'd get hot up there but it's not like they'd melt or catch fire. Edelbrock puts a small sticker on all of theirs and mine stayed put.

I think it'll be just fine. They make "high performance" vinyl... make your sticker out of that (if you're having it custom made). That is the stuff of which the windshield banners and such are made.
