window stained up

window stained up

does anyone know what i can use to get stupid water stains out of my windows, , probably used to be sitting under alot of dried up dirty water, now my windows and hatch look like there always dirty, now that i got my tints it makes it stand out more

You can try using 00 or 000 steel wool with some glass polish.

Moving to detailing so you can get some different answers..................

i've used steel wool or they make glass sanding kits that go up to insanely fine grits to smooth them out, used to use them when detailing cars, saved some guy 1200 bux when i did his 60s vette top instead of buying a new one.

Yeah steel wool works if the stains are not that tough. But I was experimenting about a week ago since my windows had water stains and such. I used some 3M rubbing compounds on the window and it worked like a charm! Just takes a little elbow grease but it turned out awesome. Now I just need to do my rear hatch window and I will be done

cool i was thinking about using steel wool , i was just scared that it might scratch up my whole window
