Tires and Wheels

Hi there, im finally pretty close to getting my wheels and tires. I love the chrome 2k c5 rims, they look great imho.

I found a side that has a set for sale, 1045$, 18x9.5 and 18x10.5. offset is +65 and +58. As far as tires are concerned, i was thinking 255/35/18 in front and 275/35/19 in the rear.

My question is, what size spacers do i need front and back. AND is that tire and wheel size set up acceptable? basically what do i need to make it work? fender flares? 2 inch spacers? Thanks in advance.

2" should be just fine for the 58+ 10.5 in the rear. the +65 is really large and will need a much larger adapter. skulte recommends over 2 1/4" i still have my fronts that were custom made to fit my +65's if your interested just email me.

do a search and you'll find plenty of info on adapters, pictures of those wheels as well as my own.

if its an 18 inch rim youll have troubles with that 275/35/19

you could go wider then 275 if you want, like a 295 shouldnt be too much and should tuck if you do it right.

wow i'm tired...didn't even look at the tire specs.

275/35/18 front and 295/35/18 rear. bump it up or if necessary for a daily driver to keep from bending a rim. your going to narrow with the above.

I think the stock vette rear tire size is 275/40/18. and that will only add 2.4 mph when your speedo says 60mph

stock vette rear tire on a 9.5 rim not a 10.5 like he's trying which then the stock tire is 295/35/18.
